Effective from 6pm on Friday 26 March 2021 Victoria will further relax COVIDSafe restrictions. Key points:
Facemasks are no longer mandatory in retail spaces but must be carried at all times and worn on public transport, in rideshare vehicles and taxis and in sensitive settings such as aged care facilities and hospitals.
All workplaces are still required to provide a COVIDSafe office – with a density limit of 1 person per 2sqm – the 75% cap on workers in private and public offices has been removed.
Up to 200 people may gather outdoors from any number of households each day
A household can receive up to 100 visitors per day.
As restrictions ease it is more important than ever that we take steps every day to keep ourselves and others safe. Remember to wash hands regularly, practice respiratory hygiene, maintain social distance, if you have symptoms get tested and stay home and most importantly if you are unwell stay home.
