Berwick Art Workshops
Tenants at the Berwick Rooming House have had the opportunity to experiment with materials and learn some new skills. Thanks to the support of City of Casey and Purple Dog Leadlighting & Mosaics the tenants are working on some amazing mosaic pieces.

Thank you to Vinnies Berwick Soup Van volunteers – ‘Vannies’ – for bringing food and friendship to our tenants.
The volunteer-run Berwick Soup Van goes out every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evening and, on a busy night, can serve up to 90 people.

Thank you #GoKindly for your kind and generous donation to Women’s Housing Ltd. #GoKindly is a Social Enterprise creating ethically sourced bed + bath goods.
The support from #GoKindly will go towards a new program that Women's Housing Ltd are developing for our tenants and clients of IAP. The program will educate women about tenanting a property and give them guidance on how to navigate their way through the rental system. With this additional support Women's Housing Ltd hope to help women maintain their tenancies.

Support from Shebah
On 9 September 2019 Women’s Housing Ltd gratefully accepted a generous cheque from Shebah, an all female ride share service. Shebah have a fleet of fabulous female drivers that enable women across Australia to access safe and convenient transport.
Not only has Shebah very kindly donated 1% of all fares to charity but they are also committed to supporting their women drivers to access economic opportunity by ensuring they keep 85% of their fares.

Unique Community Alliance Delivers New Housing
On 18 September 2019 Women’s Housing Ltd and Emma House Domestic Violence Services Incorporated (EHDVSI) joined renewable energy developer, Tilt Renewables, to announce a unique community alliance. The Alliance will deliver new housing for women escaping family violence through a new ‘Safe Housing Program’, a key initiative of Tilt Renewables’ Dundonnell Wind Farm Benefit Sharing Plan.
The Safe Housing Program will enable greater access to housing specifically for women and children from south-west Victoria who are at risk of homelessness due to family violence.
As a key partner in the new program, Tilt Renewables will donate $500,000 toward the construction of Women’s Housing Ltd new long-term, 24-unit development in Bayswater, set to open early next year.
